{"id":169,"date":"2020-11-30T10:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-11-30T02:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lifecoaching.sg\/LIFESCOOP\/?p=169"},"modified":"2020-09-15T17:09:36","modified_gmt":"2020-09-15T09:09:36","slug":"on-fears-false-evidence-appear-real","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lifecoaching.sg\/LIFESCOOP\/on-fears-false-evidence-appear-real\/","title":{"rendered":"On Fears (False Evidence Appear Real) \u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Fear is one of the 8 primary feelings\/emotions that if not well taken care of, can escalate into the secondary and tertiary feelings of frustration and depression respectively.<br><br><br>To better handle fear, we need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Understand some hard facts about Fears (usually due to past programming, memories, beliefs &amp; lodged in the limbic system); and<br><br><\/li><li>Be Aware of our Fears &amp; Shadows, to Face &amp; Confront them so that we can Lead in the Light &amp; help ourselves &amp; those we lead, live Lives of Purpose &amp; Possibilities\u2026<br><br>Below is an extract from Susan Jeffers, &#8220;Feel the Fear &amp; Do It Anyway&#8221; to help you cope better with FEAR (False Evidence Appear Real):<br><br><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Five Truths about Fear<\/span><br>1. The fear will never go away <strong>as long as I continue to grow.<\/strong><br><br>2. The only way to get rid of the fear of doing something is to go out \u2026 <strong>and do it.<\/strong><br><br>3. The only way to feel better about myself is to go out \u2026<strong> and do it.<\/strong><br><br>4.
